This sculpture entitled "Meeting Place" was designed by Kosso Eloul and is located at the intersection of Bloor and Church. The idea behind the sculpture was to weld the steel members together in various leaning positions so as to create a gateway space to the Crown Life Insurance building. The steel masses, which actually consist of very light folded steel, appear to be incredibly heavy. This perceived weight makes the sculpture seem quite unstable and therefore helps to transform it into a very interesting piece of street furniture.
