Underground Parking Entrance Structures
Walking along Alexander Street, you are noticeably surrounded by boxy, outdated apartment buildings. Although these buildings are rather mundane, the small underground parking entrance structures that flank them are far from it. These structures, or “headhouses”, are constructed of glass; possibly in an attempt to address street visibility and safety concerns. Their own unique character does well to set them apart from the buildings they belong to, as well as add a new contemporary feel to this urban residential street.
