This is the Korkeasaari Zoo Lookout by Ville Hara/HUT (Helsinki University of Technology) Wood Studio. Photo by A + U magazine (August 2006). This was assembled by a team of 8 graduate students from enrolled in Wood Studio at the university. Each lattice was steam-formed, making use of ship-building techniques. Very crafty.
